In India, the Centre for Advanced Computing (C-DAC), which has its headquarters in Pune, is ready with the technology to effect the change for Indians.

Once domain names in Indian scripts come into existence, Google could be written as www .google.bharat (in Indian scripts) and C-DAC: Centre for Development of Advanced Computing as www. cdac.bharat

from what this signifies, is that the script will allow , the tlds to be adapted to the regional langages as well, then . भारत will be in competition with .net(.नेट) and .com(.कॉम), so it is just like .info/.net/.org . Its a metaphor ,but ,how will भारत fare will depend on the pricing, and the top names will have value i.m.o.
If it is restricted to companies and TM holders, it will provide another elusivity to the extension.
